Tiffany’s 40 over 40 Session

A few years ago, Tiffany and I met through Traverse Connect when we both served as Ambassadors — but I didn’t really get to know her until she joined my 40 Over 40 Portrait Project

When I asked her the three words that described what she’s accomplished at this stage in life, she said:

“Independence. Acceptance. ENOUGH.”

“

I’m enough — the things I’m doing are enough. I don’t have to be all the other things.”

YES. That kind of self-knowing is powerful.

During her session, we celebrated her love of gardening — a passion she shared with her dad who had passed about a year earlier. And then she showed up in a red suit — something she never would’ve worn in the past — bold, vibrant, radiant. She later wore it to a Christmas party and rocked it.

When we sat on the studio couch reviewing her images, it didn’t feel like business anymore — it felt like two old friends catching up. And I left thinking: I want to hang out with her more.

This is what this project has gifted me — not just beautiful portraits, but real, soul-deep connection with the most inspiring women.
